Not any bigger but more powerful JDM B20A, I dont know how it would work in an S though.

Dont buy that model Prelude unless you plan on keeping the carbbed B20a3 (110hp). If you try dropping the B20A (jdm FI) in there you will have to change so much it's not worth even swapping, it would be easier AND cheaper for you to just pass on the S model and look for a 2.0Si (or Si) model and then either keep the B20a5 (b21a1 for Si) or swap that out for a B20a (jdm) and that way you wont have to change 70% of the shit in the car. If you really wanna buy the 88 prelude S and you want a powerful motor to go in, then drop the H22a in there. It will cost upwards of 6 grand to do but that is basically your easiest/cheapest good swap to do. Once again, swapping a B20a or B21a1 into an S model is NOT worth it and is a waste of your time and money. Hope that helped.
Edit: if you want a car that you can swap a better motor in for less than 4 grand, then buy a civic (god be with you) or an accord for that matter. It will be faster, cheaper, and easier.
