1999 GMC Sierra 2500 Rear Window Leak?

The rear QTR Window (3rd door window) leaks and have read that others have had the same problem. Is there a way to adjust the latch? Replacing the latch may work at first but I am thinking that it will eventually leak again.

I would appreciate any thoughts or help!
