I need help RSX fixed

Ok I bought a wrecked RSX that was hit in the front and the back pretty hard but the body and structure was fixed on it. My problems are this I have no radio stations in the car like the car has lost the factory antenna or something. I was wondering were the antenna was, to me it looks like it is built into the hatch glass in the back of the car. Does anyone know how to de-install this stereo without fucking up the dash? Another problem I have is there is a 2inch piece of rubber on the sun roof that when you close the sunroof the rubber peels back on it. Can anyone recommend an adhesive that bonds rubber seals to glass? I also have the door adjured light that is stuck on in the dash. I need to know if there is door ajar sensors on the hood, hatch, and doors, and if there is a website or some place where I could get little parts for this thing like switches and sensors and such I don’t want to pay dealer prices. The car only had 4k on it and it runs like a bat out of hell but it seams to have hella road noise coming from the back of it. Its like I need to dynomatt the shit out of the trunk. Does anyone’s RSX have excessive road noise or is it me? I also need to know if there is a way to see if the air bags are good to go without wrecking the thing. I want to make sure that everything was repaired correctly. One last thing is the keyless entry, The Lock button does not work on the remote and the car only
came with one key and one remote. How many keys and how many remotes does a new RSX come with and should the remote have a trunk pop on it or is that just for the RSX S models it looks like there is a place for one. Does the RSX have an alarm on it like if someone where to break the glass on it would it honk or something? If you have black RSX is there light blue mettalic in the paint very faint looking mettalic in this one I am trying to find out if this is the factory color or not. I feel like ripping the thing apart and starting from ground zero with it. Do these cars have an option for a remote start?? This one is a 2002 RSX Thanks in advance for any replies guys.....

Sounds like quite a project. :iceslolan
First off, either the antenna is unhooked from the stereo or it is damaged, and i don't believe there is anyway to repair it if that is so.
And for taking the stereo out of the dash, it would be tricky to do on your own so its better to take it to a stereo shop and let them do it.
For the rubber around your sunroof, instead of using an adhesive i think it would be cleaner if you peeled all the rubber off and bought a new rubber gasket to go around the glass, depending on what they cost that would be the way to go on that. The only door ajar sensors are going to be on the decklid and doors, and most likely one is just jammed from the wreck. Go online to find out where those sensors are so you can see if one is fowled up. Now on the noise issue, the RSX isn't the quietest car on the road, but noise shouldn't be loud enough to bother you, if you wanna start somewhere i would say start looking for loose things around the spare tire, make sure the bose sub in the back is sealed down tight (for Type-S only i believe). Also make sure that the exhaust piping is being held in place by the special hooks. For the airbags, as far as ive been told, if one was malfunctioning it would light a warning for you on the dash. If you wanna make double sure take it into the dealer and they can hook it up to their computer for a pretty cheap price. An RSX comes with 2 regular keys, one valet key and 2 remotes. The remote does not have a pop trunk button but if you hit the unlock button twice it does unlock the trunk.
Yes the RSX has an alarm system and it will be armed even if you lock your car by key only.
And finally your car could be setup to do remote start only if it was an automatic. But i have heard of ppl setting it up with a standard, but its not recommended!
Hope that i helped you out a little,
have fun.

my friend has a 5-speed 96 civic dx, he got the remote start set up. The only thing you have to remember to do is not leave it in gear. Or else your car might jackrabbit into/out of the garage. You have to install the kit yourself though, no manufacturer/shop will install it for safety reasons.

I install them all the time. I simply use a motion sensor that is commonly used to detect the cars movement like someone towing the car. Well, as soon as the sensor feels movement, it kills the engine.
