I was just wondering if anyone might know a price for a type-R head to be used for a swap onto a b18c1. I've heard the type-R head flows better and also the type-R cams are better. I'm wanting the type-r head for better flow bc down the road I'm gonna turbo. Also, I was wondering if I decided to go with the type-R head, would there be any use in porting/polishing and getting a valve job done to the head before I do the swap since it already flows better than the gsr head.(Money is not a problem so almost any replies will be possible.

You can buy a Type R head from JDMsweetz on here for $950, but she's in California. I'm pretty sure they come p&p from the factory, and yeah the 5-angle valve job will help a bit. BUT if you're going to turbo just stick with the GSR engine. The compression ratio on the Type R is too high to run boost safely/as efficiently as a lower compressioned GSR, which is a great engine to run boost on, stock.
