I'm looking to buy a gsr w/ a revhard stage 2 turbo kit. the car has 79k w/ 14k on the turbo. It was a very well installed kit (Jotech motorsports, dallas,TX) and will be inspected again before I buy the car, should i decide to do so. THe guy is aking $12900 for the car but I think that is high considering a stock gsr will pull around $8500. Overall, he spend around $8400 total for the turbo and other accessories. Considering that modifications have terrible resale, I was hoping that some of you could give me a good idea on what a fair price to pay would be. Thanks for the help.

condition is pretty good; he did remove the back seat which i will have to replace; he's running no cat w/ a straight pipe which is making a intermittent vibration; has nice carbon fiber hood and type r wing;

also, he has admitted to racing it regularly so I would imagine that would lower the value somewhat due to the increased risk

Have a compression check done on the car and have a mechanic do an overall check to make sure everything is up to spec on the car. The car being regularly raced doesn't mean alot if it was well cared for and driven properly but if not :nono: stay away.

I am going to have a compression test done before I buy. What I'd like to know is whether his price is fair or too high. Assuming it is in good mechanical condition, what would you pay?

What is it, 97, 98? If its good condition, Id say like 12,500, just cause you always lower it a little. But thats a good deal. Did you check the title?
