Just seeing if anyone has any ideas. Changed head gasket, was running before, and now there is no spark. There is power to the coil, and all other wiring looks ok. Fuses are all good. Any ideas. Don't know if maybe distributer got damaged? Anything would help. Thanks.

Are you running an HEI? If so you might want to check the little electrical unit under the pickup called the "pole piece".Check the wires leading to it as well as the wires to the pick up.If you are still running a point style distributor I would check the points. If you left the ignition on for an extended period you may have fried the points and it's hard to tell by looking at them.Pull the cap off and turn the engine over.Look at the points to see if you can see a spark. If not change them out along with the condensor, gap them (.019-.021 in.)and give that a shot!
Good Luck

The only other thing I can suggest is that maybe the coil decided to pack it in!You say you have power to the coil but is there power leaving the coil? If you have another or maybe someone you know has one kicking around you could try that.Just a word of caution,as you probably know the HEI packs quite a punch so just be as careful as possible.(I know first hand 'cause I've had a small taste of it !!)

Well it's running, not sure what it was. But now, sometimes one pipe on the header will be cool while the others are hot, and then a little while later another would be cool and the last one will be hot again. think it might be the cap and roter? sound right?

Hmm, interesting. You actually grab the pipes after it's been running? I know people out there who'd pay a fortune to watch you do that!! We could be rich!!...of course, I'd be your manager, right partner? :)

Been there and everyone knows that you probably checked the tubes with water and not grabbed them lol! but this may help and it may not but I once had the same problem but I didn't change head gaskets.. My problem was that even though my plug wires looked fine they actually got hot and had a crack or two in them that I couldn't see until I pulled them off and inspected them further. they were grounding to the head or the header and you couldn't see them in the day but they were. I was a technition at our local FORD and at the local CHEVROLET dealerships and through those experiences I have found that if you spray SALT WATER throught a spray bottle that you can tell more deciesivly where the problem lies IF IF IF it is an ignition problem just a thought... I hope this helps :)
