can't access any buttons

I'm ready to post the header how to, but can't access any buttons such as bold, italic, underline, font color and type, cut, paste nothing. WTF is going on? Please help me, for the sake ad well being of my computer

unerline = Ctrl U
Italics = Ctrl I
Open = Ctrl O
Print =Ctrl P
Save = Ctrl S
Find = Ctrl F
Undo = Ctrl Z
Redo = Ctrl Y
Cut =Ctrl X
Copy = Ctrl C
Paste = Ctrl V
Bold = Ctrl B
New = Ctrl N

You can also enter it in manually by typing and around whatever it is you want bold, underlined, italicized or whatever. Just substitute the x with B for bold, U for underline, I for italics etc. For example to start a bold, type [B] and to end an italics, type [/I]. I can't really show both, or they will disappear and whatever's between will be effected like this but I hope you get the idea.

Oh yeah, and it's not that important.

Edit: After reading Tonioseven's post about bs, I'd like to clarify that the last comment there is just lighthearted teasing.
