I have been looking and It seems to be very hard to find an air intake for my car. Where should I look. And how much should I expect to spend. I plan on adding an intake and duall exauhst to give it a lil pep. Its a 4.3 liter v6.

i have the same car, are you looking for stock or custom? if you want stock i will give you mine for a modest price, if you want custom, best bet is to mod a stock. very rare to find an intake for our car, not to mention the small intake hole we have..

i have a 93 s-10 blazer and i'm looking at improving my engine's ability to breathe. i'm not sure how different your 89 and my 93 are under the hood. but for mine a K+N intake kit form Advanced Auto is $118.00. and i found a Volant cool air system for $270.00. gtkriss is right it is hard to find performance parts. i've looked for a month and this is all i could find. in my opinion, based on what i've been told you must keep some backpressure in your exhaust system. i lost ,due to rust, half my exhaust from the cat back. and my truck ran like a Yugo. if you're doing it for looks, by all means go for it, nothing looks meaner than duals. just keep in mind the backpressure when picking out components.

I wanted and intake for my 1991 4.3 TBI, but I didn't want to drop $100+ on a kit.... so I made my own.
