Bug Guard installation

I just bought a 2003 nissan Murano so I deceided to put on a bug guard I bought a BUGflector II from ventshade it's a good looking product very easy to install,now the hard part the hood will not close, I even removed the rubber Hood stops,but It will not close! Has anybody out there ran in to this before if so can you tell me how to resolve this!
