eye have a stock 96 G and I want some bigger wheels and tires, somewhere between 225 and 245 R16. does anybody have experience with the proper wheel and tire widths, aspect ratios, offsets etc? i want to know what aspect ratio would be closest to stock tire diameter. the inf0 on g20.net is for 99-2000 models ::/ i'm also wondering what sort of wheels to get... i think the old style BBS mesh might look very nice but the bolt patterns are probably wrong.

If you're going to get 16 inch wheels on a p10, you should go with either a 205/45/16 or a 215/40/16. These are the two closest sizes to the stock circumfrence. A 225 or a 245 will not work on the p10, they are too wide. For 17 inch on a p10, a 205/40/17 is the closest, and for 18 inch on a p10, 215/35/18 is the only size that will work.

Not intentionally going astray here.... but I thought 1996 was the first p11

To clear things up, the 1996 G20 is the last year for the p10. The US p11 models began in 1999.
