Power Seat Memory Question

We have recently been experiencing a strange problem with the power seat memory. After I drive the car (user 2) and my wife activates her keyless remote (user 1), the seat will not return to her preset unless she presses the button several times. It will move a little then stop. I work in electronics and this is really crazy. If it gets the control signal and the memory is good it should go to the preset position but why does it take several presses to get there? Has anyone else seen this? Pressing the door mounted memory button (1 and 2) has the same effect. I am noticing the same problem going from 1 to 2 as well.

My guess is that the circuit breaker for the power seat pops off as if its binding then overheats the circuit breaker. This is just a guess but you could confirm this by trying to manually move the seat with the regular controls from your position to hers. Good luck and if you find the true problem it wouldnt hurt to post your findings
