Porsche 944 Problems.

Hey guys..i just bought a 1983 Porsche 944 yesterday.

Basically..the problems with it that ive noticed so far:

-When the car is idling below 1000 rpm, the oil light turns on..and the e-brake indicator light turns on in sync with it every time. Meaning every time the oil light indicator is on..the e-brake indicator is on. The e-brake is down all the time..i never use it..and i dumped a quart of oil into the car. Im getting an oil change on tuesday..but this is still alarming.

-The power window on the passenger side appears to be broken. Sometimes i can get it down using the driver side controls..but i can never lower it with the passenger controls for the passenger side window. And when i DO get it to work from the driver's side controls..it takes like 10 tries of me pressing the button before i can even notice any movement in the window.

Your window switches are bad. They are probagbly about $30.00 a piece. That will solve that. As far as your oil light, Was your oil low? if it was your oil light will come on. If not, the oil sensor in your oil pan may not be seated properly. And the handbrake, that little button switch underneath is probably bent down. I dont know why it would only come on together
