Racing Thugs

So I went to my gf house tonight around midnight. I stop there and her car is gone so I'm like wtf. I go to call her on my cell except for some reason I'm getting no reception. So I get off her street back onto this main road. As I'm turning I see to imports line up at this light and race. I let them go and just mind my own business. I go the same way as them cause my plan was to stop at the White Hen and use the pay phone to call her cell. So as I go to pull in I see the 2 cars that raced and like 5-6 other imports and thier all hanging out. I wanted to just use the phone and be on my way put I knew it would not be that simple.

I get out of the car and walk past them to the pay phone they say somethign about the car to me but i kind of ignore them and just go and use the phone. Get in touch wit my girl and she says she will be at her house in like 15 minutes. So I get off the phone and walk to my car past the thugs agian. They ask me if I think my car is fast, I say "It does the Trick". They ask me if I want to race and i simply say no. They ask me if I'm scared and I just told them it wasn't worth my time. They harras me some more so I tell them I will race the fastest person there for $50. I would of said more but that's all I had on me.

They talk amongst each other and decide I will race this white 95 Integra. They ask if I want to look over the kid's car and I say no. I offer them the same courtesy and the declined. I think that they thought they had me suckered in by this. So we go about a tad more than a 1/4 mile down the road to the lights where I saw the 2 race before.

It was only 30 degrees tonight so I knew traction was gonna be tough for me. So I heated up the tires more than normal and I decided to launch only a 1,800rpm and really feather the clutch and beat him after the start. So we line up at the lights, they kid driving the integra yells over to me and smiles. Then I see him purge nitrous through his hood. I think this is why they thought they had tricked me, I dunno did they not notice the roll cage in my car?

Light goes green and I take off very conservatively, the integra spins the tires all through first but he was a moving good and had about a 1/2 car on me through first. I slammed hard into second and let the back squirm a little. By the end of second I was a good 2-3 car lengths ahead. End of third I had 5 or so car lengths I'm guessing... was paying more attention to what's infront of me. Pass the White Hen in 4th still pedal down with his lights a good distance back. Wanted to make sure there was no arguement about who won.

Slowed up and u-turned to get my money. Pulled in the White Hen parking lot. To thier credit they did hand over the money w/o much griping. They asked if I wanted to race some more for fun and I told them I had to go. Got to my gf house and she was already there. She asked me what to so long. I just told her I had to get gas cause she don't like me street racing.

ok i just double checked with the fast and the furious and its imposible to win against a car with Naaawwwsss

hey man.. what are you talking about. Show tubes are tight. I have like like 5 sets in my car. Extra showy. and i think that having 5 sets of show tubes makes me NHRA legal.. cuz you know.. more tubes=more safe.

i know what you mean by cold weather and traction. holyshit, when boost kicks in on first gear, even from a 10mph roll, the rear would just break lose and kick out. but nice kill, and atleast those kids where nice enough to pay you the money with no drama involved.

where you joking or serious, nitrous(depending on how much) doesn't decrease you 1/4 mile time by 3 sec
its more like 1-1.5 sec usually. i raced an integra with nitrous and i still beat him, barely but i won. and i'm pretty sure gtstangs car is faster than mine. LS1. by the way gtstang whats your 1/4mile time?
