Upshift Light

Hello Everyone,

I just bought my new 2003 Red Cobra Convertable.
the car is very fast and I love. however the upshift light is driving crazy, I was able to reprogram the seat belt not to make a niose. I want to know if there is a way to stop that upshift light from coming on.
what is Ford people thinking? if you don't know when to shift why would you buy a Cobra?!

does anyone know how to stop the light from coming?
