D16Z6 Flywheel

I have post this before and no respond, so I figure I will give it a try again.

Just want to know if anyone knows or recommend a good flywheel for the D16Z6 (95 civic EX/Si) engine.

I have heard that the clutchmasters and findanza flywheels are pretty nice. You could also send your stock one out and have it lightened by ACT.

Some how I have a feeling that no one really knows anything about flywheel in here. Anyway, anyone has anything to say for these two brands of flywheel below?

1. Clutch Master (claims 7.8 LBs)

2. Fidanza (claims 7 LBs)

I have a JUN ultralight on my d15 and it is really nice....good upgrade

I have installed a Fidanza flywheel on one of my customers 93 HB with built D16Z6 and he loves it. Lighter flywheel usually leeds to faster reving. I myself am very impressed with Fidanza and would recommend them to anyone. Hit me up and I can get ya a price if your interested. Hope this helps.

How about Unorthodox? 8lbs...about $450-$475.

anything lighter than 8.5 pounds is no good for an sohc. u have to float the clutch too much and u will not take off like u want to. for an aggressive drag launch u will want something between 10 and 12 pounds. for street racing 8.5 to 10 pounds is ideal. spoon and jun make 8.something pound flywheels. act makes 8.4 and 11.9 pound ones that work well. exedy is another company that works well. RPS sports makes some of the best clutches and flywheels but their flywheels are for b16's. if u need an sohc u have to special order it.
