Regarding my 97 Nissan Pick Up, 4 banger. The OBD II code reads PO400, I've had the air intake sensor replaced under warranty twice, thinking it's the same problem again. The part appears to be dealer issue only. Any suggestions for after market or fixing it as is? Will it effect the next smog check results?

Well, P0400 Is An "egr System" Code.
I Would Start With The Egr Valve-99% Of The Time It Is The Valve That Sticks Open Or Closed. If You Know How To, Clean The Valve(you Can Usually Get More Life Out Of It). If Not, Just Replace It. This Should Solve Your Problem.
