compared to the base, yes. i don't know, but 40 extra hp sounds pretty good to me.

Not to mention the bigger brakes and tuned suspension, from what I can tell the RSX Type S is exactly the same spec as the New Zealand Integra Type R, which is exactly the same spec as the Japanese Type R but with 20 less hp (and Honda will sell you the cams, ECU and headers to get it back).

the base model RSX is the same engine as the new SI civics. they're super slow. even the type-
s isn't all that fast. you want a fast type S? get the 3.2 CL/TL otherwise i'd say get a typeR integra

I think the bigger question is whether you're comfortable driving a six speed manual or an automatic...
