my line comand only draws arrows?

why does my line comand only draw arrows?

click F1 :icon16:

There's an arrow box open, and since it's activated you're going to get arrows instead of lines.

Unclick the whichever box is selected under the word "arrowheads"

i see this problem a lot

yeah, that got me too way back when i was a real nub
