Weird maybe electrical tick in cluster area

Anyone else have this tick sound comming from the speedo cluster once in a while. Didnt bother me at first but now beginning to drive me nuts.

My '91 silverado would loose all electrical and even try to die. On the third or fourth try I found a short where the wire runs from the negative battery clamp to the fender well. This ground wire was loose.

I have an 03 and mine has been making that weird noise since day one. I have no clue exactly where its coming from. It seems to make the noise only when the truck is in park or stopped in gear. I had the dealer look at it but they couldnt find anything wrong with it. I checked everything that could be loose around the cluster but everything seems fine. I havent had any problems with cluster working but the ticking noise sure is annoying.

Yeah, to make it even weirder it only happens when accelerating from a stand still. Hmmmmm.. something weird..
