silencer blocks air..less hp?

hi i have a full catback tsudo fireball and i tend to put on and take off the silencer pretty often..when its on, its obvious its not letting as much air out so does that mean im not getting fullpotential power?

Thats correct. Because you are restricting the air flow.

the thing is without the silencer..its just wayyyy too loud..to the point where i dont want it anymore..what are my options if i dont want to spend getting another exhaust..can i just a muffler and have it welded on or something?

Try getting another catalyst converter welded on. When I got my magaflow cat-back the guy who put it on said that someone before had him put on the same exhaust system and he thought it to be too quite so he had the muffler man take off the catalyst converter so it would be louder. He asked if I wanted to do the same but I liked it the way it was. You might want to try out magnaflow catalyst converter and just weld that one on.

i have a tenzo type 2 and the silencer takes away alot of torque not to mention sounds like shit, its sounds really high pitched.

It would be quieter if you got another resonater put on.

just leave the silencer in unless you're racing, it wont make enough of a difference to be worth it to leave it out
