Hey folks, My 93 Mercury Villager has a wierd heater problem. Heater works great while stomping on the gas but no heat while in idle even after the car has been running for an hour. I had the thermostat replaced and the radiator flushed and the problem persists. Any suggestions?

In hopes that you have already solved this problem, I am replying to your post. I have the same exact problem, and as you well know, it is frustrating me greatly. Any help would be appreciated. Email at [email protected]

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak to your heater water control solenoid........check the hose to it
