so many signature threads..someone should make a sticky post "Signature requests" and people could just ask for a signature and someone will wander in there and if they feel like it, make a sig for them. all these posts asking for signatures though are kind of annoying, i'm sure others agree.

yeah theres a lot of these, i wonder why ppl dont make them by thereselfs. i mean you can say i made it not anyone esle.

to be honest, i have more respect for people that make their own shitty sigs to represent themselves than have someone else make a decent one for them... just my 2 cents

I agree, if you can make your own signature, no matter how shitty it is, props to you. I made about 20 different sigs for people using my style on 1 forum. Lately i've been getting requests still, but i've kidna been "sigged out" lately.

I'm looking for a new style, because i've noticed a lot of other people using the same one I do. That makes me look un-origional, and that's not very cool. :nono:

Get Paint Shop Pro 7 or Adobe Photoshop, even a trial version will do just play around with an image of your car using different effects, you'll get the hang of it eventually theres also alot of good tutorials out there just do a search on www.google.com and experiment until you get the look you want. That's how most of us started out.

yeh man i agree, if you make your own sig, it gives you satisfaction every time you made it. But if you still dont feel like making it, then i'll make it. (unless someone has allready said they would, then rightfully its their lil project thing.)

can someone do a tutorial for signatures, I'm having trouble with the wacky writing u guys have, and the background :(

It's kind of hard to do a tutorial on signatures because theres millions of possibilities, thousands of text effects and fonts, thousands of backgrounds. Maybe if you could explain exactly what type of text you want or the effect your going for we could help out.

I'm not really too sure, at first I thought a really simple font because my nick is quarter_mile I was gonna have 2 cars going at it, but now I just want a weird futuristic theme, The car I'm gonna have in my sig is the supra from the fast and the furious, what would be a good effect for that?

hella ya guys. the only way to get good is fiddle around. here i am 4 years later and i'm STILL LEARNING NEW THINGS! it's a constant learning process. i'm soooo embarassed by some of the first things i did in PSP4... horrid art. but i thought it was nifty at the time! just grab a program and start to tinker, it's so worth it. i regret this but when i first started, i thought filters were the coolest things. LOL my bad

and a good effect for the supra in tfatf? fire.

I'd do a little warp effect on the supra to make it look all "F+F style" on nitrous, than maybe do the same with the text.
