Alright ladies, here's my issue. I have bought a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI. I bought it with a burned motor. It caught fire and all the plastic components in the engine bay were melted by extreme heat. Obviously. So I have a 97 Talon Motor and parts to replace this one. Will I need to change over the computer as well? Different harness? Difficult job or relatively simple? Motor out, motor in, plug here and there. Clean up first of course. Big time... I hear melted rubber and plastic under the hood of a car is messy.

my car caught on fire, so i know how this is done from experience. u can still use the same computer and wiring harness if no harm was done. its much easier to drop the motor out from underneath with the tranny. job should take around 6-7 hours to get everything in there. all in all, be patient, it may take awhile to get it running.
