what engine?

i just bought a kelmark kit car. It is a rear engine kit and i really want to use a porsche drivetrain. I scored a 914 flat 4 from a guy for $100 i doubt i'll use it in this project because i want a little more power. Any suggestions at all on what i could do to beef up the output of the 914 engine or on what rear engine setup to run will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.

Use Flat 6 Man. Don't use a 914 engine for a rear engine car.
