I'll be purchasing a 1g Talon TSI AWD within the next few weeks to replace my RX7TT (yeah I know it's a big step down performance wise, but I'm a po' college student :( ). Anyway, I've been trying to find more info on the titanium/aluminum turbo that comes on the Evo VI RS, but I can't find much. The model number I came across is: TD05HRA-16G6-10.5T , but I don't know if that's right or not. If anybody has any info or the model number I'd greatly appreciate it.
TIA :D

Thats the correct number for the turbo. Some more info on the Evo VI RS turbo:
It has a titanium turbine and an aluminum compressor. It has a compressor diameter of 68mm and a nozzle area of 10.5cm^2. The Evo VI GSR and RS turbos are the same except for the GSR has an inconnel turbine, not a titanium one. The Evo VI TME RS turbo is the same as the Evo VI RS turbo.

Actually from what I've been reading on the Lancer Register forum the TME has a smaller compressor housing or something to that effect, but I could be wrong. Either way it won't work as the 4G63 in the Evo is mounted reverse of the one in the DSM's so the parts won't work without a good bit of modifications. Also the turbos spin the opposite way as well. I wrote to Road Race Engineering about this as well (since they have plenty of experience with DSM's and Evo's) and they confirmed it. It sounded like a good idea at first, but it would be too expensive to warrant the work. Guess I'll just go with a big 16G or 20G. Thanx a mil for the info :)
