I have a chance to pick up used Weld rims, and I what to know if you guys think it's a good deal. 15x8 rears with 255-60 BFG radials, and 15x3 1/2 front with 165's. Asking price is $650, think I should talk him down?

Depends. What condition are the rims in and how much tread left of the tires. Also I'm assuming that these would be your race wheels only right? So are the 15 x 8's gonna be big enough, cause I'm planning on going with 15 x 10's when I get my drag wheels and I've been told that might barely get me by.

That's a good price around here. usually you will pay that just for backs, if the rear has 50% life snap them up quick!!!!

Well I'm going to look at them today, and see what happens. I was looking at the Weld site, and I can buy the rims at $204 a piece for rears, and $154 a piece for the fronts, or $716 new.

I paid 6 for mine and they are 9" on the rear with 275/50 and 3 1/2 on front that seems to be the going price if they are in good shape i'd go for it. and with them being 8" wide I wouldn't worry about it i've seen a 91' 347 car pull the front wheels and carry them 24 feet with 26X8.5 BFG street radiels on it I love welds!!!
