Another SAS S2K question.......

For all of you that built the SAS S2K kit. I was wondering what is that black piece of styrene for? I have a template which I think is for it, but where does it go? I do not have any instructions for the placement of those pieces. I am still awaiting Chris's responce, but I figure you guys might be able to help me out. Please let me know.
