engin swap on a 90 civic dx 4 door

i'm posting this for my friend. he just got a single 1.6 vtech for his car. I know it aint the double but he got a sweet deal. anyone he has everthing. he just needs to know if he needs diff motor mounts if he clutch will work or how to change from cable to hydrolic and stuff like. if anyone is kindanuff to live some ifo please reply

Well your swapping d series for d series, so its basicly a bolt in swap.
You can use the dx tranny, which means keeping the standard clutch etc.
The only tricky part should be wiring up the car for the new ECU.

you'll need to use the mount off the stock engine and trim the tbelt cover and put it on the sohc vtec. your friend's also gonna have to decide if he wants to use the 92-95 ECu or get a 88-91 ecu w/ some sort of vtec control....either way there's gonna be some wiring to get the engine to run MPFI....

We just get sorta annoyed when we see it...that's all - he really wasn't flaming that hard - u haveta be really really stupid and/or ignorant to get flamed hard

just remember it's VTEC and that some people get mad about RPMS - i know stupid but some are like that.
