Love this forum

I just wanna say that all you guys and girls that frequent this forum rule. I visited **another** forum (we all know which one I mean) and everyone was a dick to everyone. I like to think I know how to work a forum and find info., but when I couldn't find anything on a certain topic, I posted a thread, and immediately got flamed on by some dork that said I should do a search. Also, if anyone didn't seem to know exactly what they were talking about, people not only heckled them (i have been known to harrass someone a little for saying something like v-tech) but said some really awful things. There was this poor kid, turned 16, got a crx, and wanted to mod it. You'd have thought he had insulted someones mother. People told him to take a hike and come back when he learned what a motor was, and crap like that. You all have always been really cool, and it makes the atmosphere a ton better. Just props to true blue 4th genners who know what's up and how to help a fellow enthusiast out... :) :)

I was born with a B16 swapped into my power wheels truck.

I wasn't a newbie when I came here because it wasn't new to me.. I'd been into it for probaby 2+ years before I found this place.

just messing with ya. i'll be the first to admitt i didn't mod my first 4th gen very much. i bought a 90 dx in '95 with 50 maybe 60,000 mi. when i got it i was ready to do gawd knows what but, i'm glad i didn't. i had a huge commute...the gas mileage ruled & the car was reliable. if you ever try and take the 5 to the 405 to the 101 freeways during "rush hour" it doesn't matter if you have 98whp or 350whp....either way you're stuck in grid-lock moving a foot every 5 mins :disappoin

I've had it for a little over 5 years now.
When I got it, 2 weeks later I had an exhaust, and about 2 weeks after that it was dropped. Then about a month later - ZC.. And so on and so on and so on. :p

Now I can't stop! :(

8 first gens, 1 second gen "S", 1 3rd gen, 2 Fourth gens... plus all the other cars that were in the garage at the same time ;)

OK, so I started out like so many people do by going and buying a car that was fast out of the box. I got a 95 eclipse gs-t that was quick, but I paid so much every month in insurance and crap that I couldn't afford anything but a set of springs for it, and did some manual boost controlling. The car was cool, but I soon learned that I wanted to get something I could afford to mod, and got a 5th gen. That car was less spendy, but I still didn't have any money to mod it, so I sold that one, took the 800 I had left over and bought the 4th gen and a ZC. That's my story, screwed up, screwed up, screwed up, finally got it right. Then I started learning... Prolly don't know anhything yet! ;)
