cleanin up a mess Zc motor swap

got this 91 hatch DX with Zc motor swap already done and trying to sort out the mess

ive read that I should use the PM7 ECU is that correct

what engine harness should be used ive heard that i should use the one from a SI Hatch is that true

it also has a hiccup on normal accell but not all the time has set a check engine light but i dont recall it right now.

You can use PM6, PG7, or PM7 ecus. I would recommend using the dx harness and modifying it to work with mpfi, it's not too tough of a wiring job. Get that code and post it up, and we can help you out better with that...

code 6 coolant sensor
code 9 crank angle sensor/CYL sensor
code 16 fuel injector circuit-found a loose wire in a large white round connecter on top of the left strut tower could have set this code

main code is code 9 which i tested the sensor which check ok at the time but like i said the hiccup is very intermittant

im using the PG7 ECU and whats needed for the wiring alterations

for the code 9, you prolly have the wires backwards, try switching them to see if this goes away. code 6, make sure the connector is on all the way, the wires are too short sometimes on the zc and need lengthened, or it puts some strain on the connector body. for the wiring alterations, the pg7 ecu will work exactly like the si pm6 ecu. check out the how-to at www.hybrid.honda-perf.org. I think that is the best one out there, it details all of the changes you have to make... Make sure you have your manual handy, and only reference the numbering set out by the diagrams for the 1.6L civic/crx.
