Need More Power

I'm looking to put some more power into my 6. Does anyone know if MSD ignition would work? Or maybe a Plasma Booster. I am going to put a tri-flow performance exhaust on it and was also thinking about putting a dinan chip in. I've put a cold air intake in but didn't notice much of a difference. I noticed the sound more than the power. What would be a good way to go?

You did not state your specifications so I will make a few guesses.
Yours is a Euro verion and it should have a 3.07 to 1 differential.
Made for 160 mph runs on the autobahn.
The USA version had 3.46 to 1 for 128 MPH runs on the hiway.
The M Motorsport has a 3.91 to 1 for more power and still will run 128 MPH on US hiway.
The difference is the differential.
I use a 3.71 to 1 because I am building a turbo.

Here are some numbers on the change,
For $200 to $400 you could get a 3.91 to 1 ratio and be the same gearing as the later M6 e24s.
For $300 to $500 you could get a 4.10 to 1 ratio and be faster than the auto m6, for 100 meters. "Thas what I'm talkin about".
All differentials from e30-6, e24, e28, and z3 with the correct ratio will fit with the change of aft plate and the swap of output flanges. This is a real deal DIY project for 4 hours.
All my toys have different ratios.
