Better Muffler

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my car would sound like if i use a hack saw to cut off the muffler. Will it be loud annoying or good sounding. I also plan to get a new DTM style muffler, anyone know what that will sound like, if you guys could help me out I would really appreciate it. By the way my car is a 1992 Bonneville SE
