I have a question

Under full throttle, my automatic transmission won't run to the redline in 3rd gear......it shifts at about 6000 or 6100 rpms, or about 110 mph. Does anyone know a way that I could make it run all the way to the redline in 3rd? Thanks:smoka:

ha...so another maximaracer wants to get his max to the limit.....
....well simply turn O/D off.....it`s below the button u push down to change gears on the shifter.......!!have fun and be safe!

thanks.......so all I do is turn the OD off once I hit 3rd?

Well what u might wanna do is Hit O/D off before u even start....if your plan on racing or going all the way to the full 140... All it is , is when you have O/D off it gives u a 4th gear... if you leave it on your going to be stoped around 120 once your 3rd gear runs out.:bandit:

You can't hit redline in any gear with a 2000 or 2001 Maxima (unless you manually shift).
