Hey Guys...

Im not sure if everyone feels the same way but I feel like this...

Does anyone else out there wake every morning and the first thing that you think of or feel is you can't wait to get your hands on your model you're building once again?? Or when you're at work, all you can think of when you're not concentrating on anything else is you can't wait to get to the closest Hobby store to see what's new??

Man I think sometimes that it can't be healthy to be so Model crazed about something that looks like a real car only it's 24 times smaller than the real thing!!! :S WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?? I have only started this hobby and I haven't even completed my first one yet!! Geeez...

Is there something wrong with the me or am I not alone??? ;)

Happy Modelling...

all i can say is your not alone.
it gets worse and worse.
you buy more and more kits.
more and more paint.
you have less money and become anti social.

but hey thats what this site is for.

Not alone at all. All I think about during an involved build is the model. I go to the hobby shop even when I'm dirt broke and have nothing in particular I want. The only thing that can stop me thinking about model cars is thinking about my real car and racing it, and girls. Heh. I guess I should branch out more....

Hehehe, you're not the only lunatic here :screwy: I was rubbing down filler on one of my models at 8am this morning ...before I'd even had breakfast :grinno: Still, being obsessive gets them done a bit quicker, eh!

Just be thankful the obsession is with 1/24 scale and not 1/1 ...at one point I owned 50 cars ..no, I'm not kidding! :22yikes: Now I have only 30 :naughty: This pic was taken last summer...

I don't think about it all the time. I think about modeling when I have time. Other times, I'm too busy with my gf. If I started talking about building kits instead of being around her, she'd dump me. She awesome though, so I don't mind.

What are those cars?

In the pic they're all 70's and 80's Datsuns or Nissans apart from two... a Honda N600 and a Mini.

I like Datsuns :iceslolan I have a '76 Mazda 1300 and an ex-drag car '69 AMC Javelin (http://www.ratdat.com/jav/) too, so it's not all Datsuns here ...hehe, talk about obsessions  .

Funny thing is, during school I sometimes can't help but jaut down notes/plans for my current progress cars. It get's on your nerves when you can't concentrate. I'm always trying to come with ideas that I've never seen before. But this has happen only when I joined AF... before AF (been building for appox. 7 years up till now) I would build car by car with some effort... nowadays I enjoy adding a lot of "extras" which explains my building speed.

To tell the truth I dont think about modeling much.. I work on a model for about 10 minutes a night.. sometimes less. Like this whole week all I did was put lights in my rx7 and put new wheels on my civic. Im with ryan, i got the modeling blues big time :disappoin
