i have a "02 silverado ext cab and i just recently had a set of edelbrock headers installed on my truck. they are nice...i already had flowmaster cat back exhaust system. with only the flows my truck was quiet at idle and when i jumped on it, it screamed. i mean it sounded good but i needed something more...and the edelbrock headers gave it just that. they arent too loud but they doo give the truck a nice low tone. i mean it is louder than before but it way deeper...and the great thing about my truck is that its not too loud inside the cab either but when you get on it everyone outside the truck sure as hell is gonna here it. so im happy....

i gots a flowmaster 50 series SUV/Performance 3" in/ dual 2 1/2" out with turndowns. Its just like josh's. Its nice and quiet and idle but when you get on it it screams. I was looking to do the same exact thing he did, put on a set of edelbrock headers. I was hopin to get some extra sound out of em.
Quick questions tho josh...which motor? the 4.8 or the 5.3. and did u get the nickel/chromium or ceramic coated and how much?

I haven't been out to the track yet...but i've raced the dodge SRT-4 and it couldn't keep up. They run 14's? Somethin like that.

How difficult was it to install the headers?
Did you have to lift the engine?
How much were they?

My uncle ran my old truck at Bandimere Speedway in Colorado. He ran it against three Lightning's and smoked them :smokin:
He was running 14's, low-mids.. I dont remember. I know the fastest of the Lightnings was running a 14.83 or so, and he beat them all. (Im in Germany right now, so communication is hard sometimes. If anyone cares, I will get him to scan the slips and send them.)
Keep in mind Bandimere is over a mile high... So take off a second or so to adjust to the altitude... and your looking at a truck that is tearing up the road.
To see some pics of the truck, check out the Pics forum in this Silverado forum. Oh by the way SC, I like your truck, it looks good. I saw all of your pics.
