Does your driver seat move on its own?

OK guys here is the scoop! My driver seat shifts back and forth while I am driving! this happens during takeoff and landing. I feel that this is not safe. Is this happening to anyone else? I mentioned this to the service manager and he did not seem to concerned. My 2000 v6 coupe did not do this and neither did my cheap old company car ( intrepid).
Do we need to write Honda a Letter??

oh my window moldings have been replaced 2x for wrinkles! fyi

Mine does the same thing. When I take off or break, the seat slides maybe half an inch or so. Just enough for it to make a noise and me feel it. It kind of feels like when you have a manually adjustable seat and you are adjusting it while someone else is driving, you go flying back or forward... but to a much lesser extent. Plus, this is a power seat so it shouldn't do this :eek7:

Not yet, at the first service I am going to mention something to them and see what they say. It's good to know I am not the only one experiencing this.

What year? My 02 doesn't do that at all. Eitherway you should have that checked out.

I have that problem too. I've brought it in and they act like I'm crazy! They say they don't notice it. I think, that they are lying. I feel like it probably cost a lot and since it's not on the recall list they don't want to deal with it. I'm going to try another dealership. Can you do that? go to another dealership that the one I bought my car at?

Im prett sure the 99 model does the same or something similar seems to me like I got a letter in the mail telling me to take it to a dealership so they could fix it. Also in the 99 ex models you can completly take the key out of the ignition with it still being in drive(has to be turned off though)

I brought mine in and they were able to fix it. It's the Track. I guess it's the service center you go too. Some feel the need to test it and some take your word for it. This guy just believed me and fixed it. The first few time they felt the need to test it and didn't notice anything. Of course you aren't! it's only noticable if your driving a long time. Plus it's so small of a shift they'll thinkit's a waste of their time, which is completely unacceptable!

There was a recall on it. The letter i got told me to take it to a Honda dealership and they would fix it for free, they also said that they would fix the ignition for free, but i havent went and got either of them fixed.
