I have a 1995 Grand Prix, i was on the interstate the other day doing about 110mph and my car just shut off, I put it in neutrul and it started right back up. The car is running great I don't know why it did that can any one tell me why it would have done that? Thanks

Well..it hits the rev limiter at 110mph. Apparently your car cut the fuel off at that point as well.

BTW, driving that fast is not safe. That's how people get killed...and that's what gives car enthusiasts like us a bad name. Keep the speed at the track!

I have a 92 Grand Prix SE and its limited at 120. It cuts to idle at 120, but it has never shut off entirely. I don't go that fast very often, though...but it sure is fun.

rockford0384--I'm sure if I had more mods it could happen, but I ran 155 at about 5800 rpms.
