Engine swap for an Accord

I am looking to swap the f22 out of my 95 accord for something that will put out more horsepower after being built, What are my options for the swap, I have been told to go with a JDM h22a but wanted to see if i had any other options. I could use any tips you could give me on this swap.

The JDM H22a would probobly be your best bet.

Alright i will keep that in mind, Can you tell me any other mods i can do to the H22 to give it more power? If not where could I go to find out ?

should i buy a h22a usdm or h22a jdm.. I heard that jdm engine when it break down is harder to find parts to fix it...is it correct?

Yeah, I don't have a phone in my car either....

h22a and h22 are the same thing.

Just search the web. Try looking into Turbo kits and stuff. Best way to get more IMO.

dude if you can find one get a f20b and swap it. it is better than a h22.

in what way? Usually if 2 engines have the same hp rating, and 1 has more displacement and more torque I would consider the larger one better...

F20B is a destroked H22A - The F20B has a higher compression ratio (11:1) to make up for the lost displacement.

Though the F20B and the H22A are rated at the same hp, the F20B has less torque (obviously due to lower displacement)

H22A parts bolt right on to the F20B

The main advantage of the F20B over the H22A is that it is lighter.

If you do go H22A, I suggest the JDM H22A Type-S @ 220HP

how much lighter? 20lbs? Im sure the torque easily makes up for it. plus it costs usually close to double. and the type s same thing 20 more hp for double the $, rather build the engine myself.

Did you read my post clearly..
I was thinking about JDM H22a or a USDM H22.
There a differences....
USDM has more parts in USA...JDM parts are from japan, which is harder to get..
Next time if you want to be a dumb ass, read well

The reason i was suggestion the type-s was because it comes with the LSD tranny. Rather than paying over a grand for a Cusco LSD.
