Im so sick of this shit. Yes, I've bitched about them before, the older guys at work. Im air force for those who didnt know, a tech. And we have two new guys in their 30's (I turn 24 on Sunday) and they are still learning, ever since they came out of training they've been believeing they know EVERYTHING and that me as a senior technician holds no sway at all due to my age. :rolleyes:
Well today was a good one. We have these "cheat sheets" which newbies use to help them learn how to do the daily servicings on the RADAR. Well after a few weeks they should be discarded and you should have already learned how to do the bloody dailies, so today after I took Steve's cheat sheet away he throws the screw driver, screams at me like a 5 yr old, tells me to give it back or he'll smash me, then proceeds to walk away. So I tell him to get his arse back and I will (ONCE AGAIN!!!) teach him how to do them PROPERLY, nope, not good enough, Im labelled a little shit and he storms off to whinge about me to the bosses. (Big mistake) Anyways, Im in the fucking military, if he needs be spoon fed he should go work somewhere else. I am sick and tired of this "age is all" ideaology. Im on here bitching because if I kept arguing with him Id be wrapping a torque wrench round some part of his arrogant threatening prick of a head.
Maybe its time to call in those favours my bosses (top 3 ranked officers in the unit) offered me if they gave me grief over things like this.
