XP4 was owned for six years by Sir Roger Bhatnagar of Auckland, NZ. He paid $950,000.00 USD in 1994. Sold it for $800,000.00 in 2000 to Larry Blair. Insurance was $25,000.00 (NZ$)/year. Sir Roger is content to drive his yellow Beetle. Said Sir Roger: "I'm a bit sad to see it go because there is nothing better than this car and it is a McLaren."

Larry got that for a good price, you would think it would have been sold for more because it's a prototype

I believe his name is Rajat Bhatnagar...Indian fellow.

Second Indian guy I know with a McLaren--the other one still has his. It's a red one, kept in Monaco. It was flown here (to Northern California) for a weekend last month.
