Door Handle Broke Off

The passenger side dood handle broke off and I'm trying to decide how to fix it. I've read about people going to the dealer and paying around $150 to have it replaced. This sounds rediculously expensive to me since it's only a little plastic handle. Is this something that can be done fairly easily? I'm trying to find somewhere to order the handle. Any suggestions? I'm going to look at a DIY book and see if they show how to talk apart the door. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in the process of doing this right now on the driver side. I already have the inside door panel taken off, and have to find a way to change the handle. Did you finish yours? How did you do it?

It was so difficult to do it I just decided to buy a new car.

You're right! I probably should have kept both and used the sebring for winter driving, especially for the amount of money the dealer gave me for it.

no kidding... I thought about selling mine when we bought the corvette, but my father really liked it. So we kept it... and let my dad drive it.
Yeah, no way was I going to give it to a dealer... I had just paid over 30k for it, I wasn't going to hand it over 2-3 years later for 11k... it could be sold on the market for up to 17.
Lol... put some winter tires on the M3, you'll be fine. : )
hehe... is this forum dead, or what? : )
