has anyone installed helper springs or anti sway bars on the rear of their trucks? I would like to reduce or remove the body roll experienced when cornering, as well as help the sagging when towing and hauling. are they a good buy for the buck? or just a cheap gimmick? Any first hand experience would help. thanks

To stop body roll during cornering the swap bars work great. They do however stiffen up the ride, but its not drastic. I would recommend them if you do "spirited" driving.
As far as the helper springs go I don't have them myself but I hear they really make the back of the truck very stiff. I would put in air bags in the back that you can increase or decrease the pressure as needed. This way when you need the extra load carrying capacity its there, but for normal driving you won't notice the difference in the ride quality.
Hope this helps.

I have Hellwig front and rear sway bars and also air lift bags in the rear on a 03 1500. sway bars help alot as do the airbags. I have control to inflate and deflate bags at will and drive most of the time with them deflated unless towing. front factory swaybar is not nearly as heavy as a aftermarket sway bar and does make a difference if you change it also.

Front sway bar has urathane bushings and so far has not squeeked at all. you may have the bar ends to tight as I am told this will cause squeeks. Should only be tight enough to just start to compress upper and lower bushings.
