Motor Swap

Guys, I just completed my LS/VTEC swap in my 1990 Civic hatchback. All I did internally was the B16A1 piston with the B18A connecting rod, B16A2 intake cam, AEM cold air intake and I put down 171hp to the wheels at 7700 rpms. I love it, this thing pulls real hard. I used Avid Racing Motor mount kit and their shift linkage. I was really impressed with their engine mounts, real cool mettalic finish. Their shift linkage is brand new, its not 1990 Integra linkage cut and rewelded, it's actually all new parts they manufacture in Canada. Awesome pricing too. Check out their website, they have all their product, www.avidracing.com. I would recommend this product, I feel it beats Hasport pricing significantly and out matches Place Racing's quality. I did a lot of reaserch on my swap and I'm really happy the way it turned out. My next step for next year summer time is throw a lower compression piston or thicker head gasket and slap a turbo to it. Any other LS/VTEC folks out there I'm interested to see how I compare.

I purchased my kit from JRP Canada, me and my friends have boughten a lot of performance parts from them, when I picked up the kit I was surprised cause I've never heard of Avid. So seeing that a few of my buddy's have had bad experiences with sagging side engine mounts on a H22 swap in a 96-00 Civic from Place, breaking side engine mounts on the 88-91 Civic B16A from Hasport, adn bizzare fitment issues with Spark Racing, a new part from a Canadian company I'm going to sooooo support. YOu judged me but you can judge yourselves too. Sorry for offereing good advice from past experience. Still looking for easy going people to chat about in regards to Frankenstein swaps.
