I have a 99 silverado and I want to lower it either 3/5 or 4/6. Can someone please tell me how big my wheels can be and what size tires to get and the offset my wheels need to have so that they will tuck and not rub bad.

I've got a 3/4 on my '99 and am running 20x9s with BFG 275/35-ZR20.
I could still drop down to a 4/6 which im considering still. You can probably get 22's on a 3/4, but I'm not sure about 4/6. It may be possible but it will probably require cutting/trimming the fender wells. Go to a tire and wheel shop by your house or a drop shop and they can probably tell you precisely what you can run. Hope this helps.
Not sure how you feel about scrappin' a little here and there, if its no big deal to you I say go 4/6.

i've got a 2/4 drop and i've got 20's with 275/45/R20 Goodyear GTII's. There's still enough clearance for me to drop it another 2 inches..even tho that would make my front end scrape everything (almost like it does now) :banghead:
