Taking my resinator off...?

aight, i have a 91 dx and i have a cat-bac brospeed exhaust, yeah its kinda off brand but it sounds good considering i have a shit motor right now, n e ways, its kinda quite and i want 2 take my resinator off to make it louder, how would i go about doing that? someone said i would have 2 take my front bumber off... but would i have 2 get any additional parts 2 fill in for the resinator? how does that work? if you wouldnt mind hit me back :feedback:

The resonator on the exhaust is located in the middle/rear of the vehicle - replace it with a pipe - gonna sound like shit IMO

Yes, it is going to sound like shit. I would leave it on and just get an some sort of intake if you want to amplify the sound a bit.

It all depends on the sound you want out of your car. If you like loud and obnoxious then go for it. I personaly am runing no resonator, or cat, with 2 1/4" pipe to a straight through muffler. It sounds good but at times can be a little much. There is no need to take your bumper off either. Good luck either way.

NO.. don't do it unless you wanna ride around with ear plugs. I gutted my civic before i sold it and rode 10 miles to the dealer with no cat. Was the worst time i ever had. So damn loud it hurt. I say stick with the moderate tone and if u want it to be louder learn to downshift.
