ok, im thinking of getting an RSX and turning it into a show car, body kit, spoiler, custom paint/ decals, ground effects, etc. I was just wondering what it would cost and would appreciate it if you post some pictures of cars for me to look at, u know, to get some ideas.

What it costs is all up to you. You could buy the car and then spend $1,000 and call it a show car, or you could spend another $25,000 on it. It's all up to you, of course the more money you spend the better you will do in shows. How much you go into detail, buying expensive products or no name brands from ebay, it's hard to tell someone how much they are looking at spending on something. Of course if I had the money, I'd spend as much as possible and buy the best of the best, but since I'm a broke ass I buy fewer things and usually a bit lower of quality.

First, ask yourself what you're doing it for??? And if the investment is worth it...then proceed with the project...good luck.

Project cars are rarely investments, they are money pits you enjoy putting money into

no offense but....THIS POST IS FAWKING GAY..get a life dude, and find out what you want. if you still can't decide, go ask your ricer friends, i'm sure they'll "hook" you up... ok serious constructive criticism now... whatever car you end up getting is your car, not anyone elses. thats the first mistake ppl always make. another thing, you may want all that flashy ricey stuff now just to get attention, but dude, ppl will just find it gay and annoying in the end..but follow your heart aight man.

OK, just to clear things up, a show car is NOT rice, it is a car that you put money into to look good and take it to shows to show off, not to race. a rice car is when you put just an exaust and a spoiler on a civic and think you can beat anyone. ok, and another thing, even though its my car, i want other people to think it looks good, so i want there input on what they think is good to buy, not because i cant decide for myself, butbecause i dont want to be the only person who likes the car.

Look man, even with a show car, don't design it to please others, design it to please yourself. Buy parts that compliment each other, and that flow toghter well. Just throwing the popular flashy part on there doesn't always look best, and doesn't necasserily mean you'll win. If the package compliments each other well as a whole. They will like it. It's all in how you tie the peices toghter. Get rims that compliment the paint job and look good with it. The rims bring out the paint, and vise-versa. Don't just go buy chrome rims cuz it "looks good." If you put out the money, and put toghter a show car package as a whole , where everything compliments each other, people will think it looks nice. And the best part? You still built it for you.
