Legal issues of SR20DET engine Swap

OK dis is my first entry on dis forum, i have already checked wit other forums n only got a run around answer which confused me worse den when i started.

Well, dis is da deal i live in jacksonville florida in the US
and i want to get a Sr20det swap for my car a 1993 240sx and i just wanted to know if it would be street legal or if i would have problems wit da law.

I wouldnt tell your insurance about the swap. But we in florida don't have emissions anymore so youll be safe. Also check out xatracing.com they do good swaps and are located in tampa.

thanx fer da info, and i have been told dat it will not be a problem by many people here in jacksonville.

after talking wit one of my uncles how is a cop i learned dat most cops dont even notice da smog shiet of an engine swap and wont kno to check on it.

and xatracing how long does it take fer them to do an engine swap.
also the site said they dont sell engines they dont install thenselves i was wondering does that mean i cant buy it from them and install it my self?

Ju speaka any egrish? I doesnt thinks u got da know how ta put in a SR motor joe self. Best idea is da ask da local crews (speed shops if any around or just repair shops) and sees if thems could give you da hook up on a phat ride. Sees if day would fit up some nice 26" shoes too and a TV in yo stearin wheel. Dat "shiet" would be totally off da chain... Dawg

The site gives a price for the engines/front clips , and if you want it installed its like 1k. It says also once they receive all the parts for whatever swap you choose it takes about a week.

is it just me or when you read people talking like that, you picture a retard saying it? ya know real slow and staggered ... lol
