Can you say NEWBIE???? I can....
Well, I have done some research and am still drawing blanks in a few areas..
First of all I am trying to find a 240sx shell to start with and dont know where to start. Or what I need to look for when I find it...
And how hard would it be to swap the SR20de to the skyline motor(cant think of the engine right off hand)... Would the trans need to be replaced to? I was looking to swap the motors and go with a 300zx ECM.. that would work right? and then I could go with a 300zx Air flow Controller???
I think just those questions are enough for now, the answers themselves will bring more questions..
REALLY LOOKING FOR HELP!!!! Thanks FR01

Well I am not entirely sure about the whole idea of using the 300z ECU. You can use the maf sensor from the 300z on the RB26 but you will need 2 of them. If you were reffering to the HKS VPC you can use the 300z VPC but you will need to call HKS and get the RB26 chip and harness adapter for it. I would go full stand alone if you dont want to try and graft the skyline harness to your 240 harness. Haltech makes a decent system E6K I believe and it can run direct ignitions.

before you do anything research. it'll take you at least a few months before you know anything about 240s.... just take your time and learn.

by the sounds of it, you're under the impression that the 240SX comes stock with an SR20DE. in fact, it does not. it comes stock with a KA24E or KA24DE. the SR20DE and SR20DET are the stock engines of the 240SX's Japanese/European/Kiwi counterparts, the Silvia, 180SX and 200SX.
