82 El Camino Body

Was Wondering if anyone could give me any tips for do it ur self body work on my el camino i have rusted thru quarter pannles witch would be the best sheet metal or body filler

standard gauge sheet metal from your local parts store is fine to use.
but you need to mig weld it in not pop rivet it in.
put the metal in from the back side of the panal if possible.
use dura glass to fill in its more durable.sand even before it gets to hard.
i use zgrip putty from evercoat it works the best for me. to finish it out
finish it with 150 grit paper, i use evercoat glaze to help prevent shrinkage, prime, sand and,paint have fun

ohhhh, one more thing you need to cut the rusted area out first,get to fresh metal, then weld new metal in
old rusted metal will just cause more rust
