I am going to but a turbo for my eclipse 1g n\t, I was looking at either getting the 14b or the t25, can someone explain to me the differences, other than the blade sizes and what not. Does anyone know the different power outputs for these turbos? I want to make my car faster, but not to where I have to spend a lot of money, these two seem to fit my budget. Also, are these two interchangeable bolt ons?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Hanh sells the 16g turbo, and not the ones I asked for, I use the 4g63, and my question is yet to remain unanswered :banghead: .

the t-25 is a nice turbo if you dont plan on running more than about12-14psi but the 14b have been able to produce up to about 20psi, they both are very good turbos for turboing the n/t eclipse... i would suggest goin with the 14b cause if you decide to upgrade more later on in life, like the internals, then you have a good turbo to produce the higher psi... but i kinda depends on the price difference and how much you are willing to spend for good boost... good luck and i hope that helps!!
(some of the numbers might be wrong but what i was trying to get at is the 14b is a better turbo and a lot of people replace the t-25 with the 14b)

so that means i can put 14b turbo on a nonturbo motor without upgrading the internals? aslong as i go 12-14psi? is that right?

no i wouldnt go over 8-10psi without upgrading the internals... what i was saying is that the t-25 is good to about 12-14psi without loosing boost... that is on a turbo car, like the GSX and GST

t25 is good without upgrading the internal on nonturbo motors or just for turbo motors? with 8-10psi?

Guys, lets get this thread back on track here.
The 4g63 that he is using will support 450-500 WHEEL HP. On stock internals. Thats more like 30+ psi on massive turbos. Neither of the two he listed require upgraded internals unless they are going on a honduh or a NT. ;) This is the 4g63 we are talking about folks...
You cant rate a turbo's capacity in PSI. On a lightly modded setup, the 14b is good to 25 psi all day long on race gas. Add in flow enhancing mods like sheet metal intake, large cams, etc, and boost will be closer to 16 psi. But airflow is the same, and that is what makes power, not PSI. psi has nothing to do with power.
In any case, I would not recomend the T25 on a 4g63. Ever. The 14b is a great all around turbo. Most poeple can get into the 12s on it, while one person has even run 11.8 on one. I got to 12.7 at 110 in my 2g with a 14b. Spools fast, and high 12s are almost a no brainer once you support it with a good setup. Great turbo to learn how to tune on too.
You will also be able to use all stock 1g lines to hook the 14b up. The t25 is setup differently and would require 2g parts. They are interchangeable as far as bolting up to the manifold and exhaust. T25 is good for 20 psi, but it will fall to 15 by redline anyway. Good for mid 13s at best. Spools super fast, but who cares...
Hope that helps.
